PTE is working closely with Tonic Housing, facilitating a series of consultative design workshops, focused around the question ‘what makes an LGBT+ retirement community’? Tonic’s vision is to provide a supportive environment by building affordable housing that serves the needs of the older LGBT community and offers an excellent quality of life to its residents. The first workshop was held in May, with over 20 attendees from in and around London, eager to get involved in the design of what will be the UK’s first LGBT majority retirement community.
