Pollard Thomas Edwards’ own development of seven family townhouses for private sale has reinvented the terraced house providing popular four-bedroom homes on a confined and sloping infill site with mature trees.

Winner of multiple awards including 2010 Housing Design Awards - special award for the perfect home plan.

PTE provided a full service from concept to completion.

A tricky sloping site and a sensitive neighbourhood made this project a design challenge which had been taken up with relish. A series of terraced townhouses, culminating in a large family house for the architect of the project, has made excellent use of the site and provided architectural identity through use of timber shingles. Attention to detail, both external and internal, was clear; the design is both uncompromisingly contemporary, but on the other hand respectful of adjacent housing and the local vernacular.
