Carl Vann is an equity partner and leads one of PTE's design workshops, taking projects from concept to completion. He leads on the strategic direction of the PTE brand alongside responsibilities for business planning and financial strategies.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Carl’s current projects are operating at the forefront of masterplanning, residential and mixed-use design innovation; including the recent RIBA National and Housing Design Award winning, Beechwood Village. Carl promotes extensive engagement and collaboration alongside original design thinking to create locally inspired buildings and places that are striking, equitable and impactful.
Carl is a former chair of the New London Architecture Expert Panel on Housing, a member of the Essex Design Review Panel, design advisor to the Royal Borough of Greenwich and previously a visiting lecturer at The Bartlett, London Metropolitan and London Southbank universities. He is also a mentor for the Future of London Leaders programme.
